Belize City Population

The largest city in the Central American country Belize is Belize City with population of around 60,000 people. Belize city is an economic center and home of the country’s main port. Since 1970, Belize City is no longer the capital of the country, because of the destruction caused by the hurricane Hattie. So, it’s been decided to move the capital inland, which is Belmopan and it is the smallest capital city in all over the continental America, with only 20,000 inhabitants.
